FRONTAL LIFTING AND TEMPORAL LIFTING ( EYEBROW TAIL LIFT )
FRONTAL LIFTING AND TEMPORAL LIFTING
EYEBROW TAIL LIFT
Over the years, the loss of skin elasticity and gravity cause the eyebrows to descend from their original position. This puts off an appearance of excess skin on the upper eyelids, causing a tired and sad look. In order to compensate for this drop, the muscles that raise the eyebrows tend to wrinkle while seeking to reposition the eyebrows back to their natural position. The result of this are the typical horizontal wrinkles on the forehead and between the eyebrows. This creates an aged appearance in the upper part of the face.
The intervention called a forehead lift or an eyebrow lift restores the drooping eyebrows in a more natural, youthful position. This gives the forehead a more rested look while also smoothing out its wrinkle lines. This can be a complete forehead lift, either coronal or endoscopic. The goal of the procedure is to reverse the descent of the eyebrows, the fall of the outer portion of the eyes, and the horizontal wrinkles on the forehead. In doing so, patients walk away with a more fresh and healthy appearance, and no signs of anger or fatigue.
The forehead lift as an intervention can be done in isolation or in combination with other face surgeries such as a nose job, eyelid lid surgery or facelift.
